Qurrat Ann Kadwani is the Artistic Director of the non-profit 501(c)3 organization, eyeBLINK

Founded in 2003, eyeBLINK is committed to promoting social change through multicultural theatre and special events. By producing and nurturing works that challenge traditions, preconceptions, and stereotypes, we believe that the creative art form’s voice, integral to a society’s consciousness, can bring together people of all backgrounds so that we may appreciate our differences.

As the Director of the Theatre department, projects include The Women of the Mahabharata, Beneath the Banyan Tree, Boys’ Life, Perfect Fit, Proof, various plays through American Colors series, Stripped Boundaries, and various readings of new plays through Tomorrow’s Gold! New Work Series. eyeBLINK’s other projects include Rhythms: A Choreographers Showcase, Masti Sunset Cruise, Wild Girls: An Evening of Fashion, Art, Music and Dance, Sureeli Shaam: a showcase of Indian singers, The eyeBLINK William J. Carabano Scholarship Award with NYU, and an annual philanthropic project, A Slice of Hope. eyeBLINK has attended the Mayor’s Gala on Asian American Heritage,has also performed at the Asian Pacific American Heritage Festival and has taken part in conferences such as Next Big Bang: Explosion of Asian American Theatre and Desi Drama: South Asian Theatre Conference.

Ms. Kadwani is the Producer and Host of Echoes of Love: Suicide Prevention Fundraiser with Music.  Begun in 2013, this annual event raises funds for suicide prevention with live musicians, while illuminating the facts and myths behind suicide and mental illness.
